Don’t forget that a plant-based menu is available for all patients at UF Health hospitals.
The goal is not to make everyone vegetarian; but rather, to encourage patients to eat more plants. Dr. Monica Aggarwal, a cardiologist, worked closely with the UF Health chefs to create the menu. After lots of food tastings, patient, nurses, and physicians have approved of the new choices!
Plant based options are also available in the cafeterias and cafes on Thursdays and Fridays. Try them for yourself and improve your own health!
