Resources to Promote Well-Being During COVID-19 Outbreak

While we are maintaining social distance and/or quarantined, many people lose access to resources that support their self-care. Here is a list of resources to help you navigate this challenging time while maintaining your own well-being.

In order to help you nurture relationships while staying safe in the midst of a global pandemic, the UF/GatorCare Wellness team has created a guide to local activities/establishments that promote socially-distant fun, a map of some restaurants with outdoor seating (organized by price range), virtual party game options, outdoor recreation sites, and more!

Director of Wellness Programs
UF College of Medicine

The University of Florida College of Medicine (UFCOM) Wellness Programs support the well-being of our trainees and faculty in order to promote optimal performance and professional fulfillment. We provide consultation and guidance to department chairs, division chiefs, program directors, and other leaders regarding ways to improve the culture of wellness within their units. We also work with multiple offices throughout the University of Florida to disseminate information regarding wellness resources and programs available to members of the UFCOM community.

On this site, you will find information about wellness initiatives for students, house staff, and faculty. A calendar of upcoming events sponsored by UF-UF Health Wellness is listed for your convenience, and the “Resources” tab includes a listing of programs and services available to assist you in working toward your personal wellness goals.

We encourage you to click on the “Wellness Rx” tab to complete a personalized wellness prescription and take the first step on your journey toward increased well-being and professional satisfaction.

Finally, we recognize that developing a true culture of wellness will require ongoing effort. We are open to ideas and look forward to working with you! Please use the “Contact Us” form below to submit comments, questions, suggestions, or requests.
